Behaviour Expectations
We are committed to providing a safe, positive, and respectful environment for all participants.
Children are expected to listen to coaches, follow instructions, and treat others with respect. Unsafe or disruptive behaviour will be addressed promptly to ensure the wellbeing of all participants. Parents and caregivers are expected to communicate respectfully and support a positive sporting environment.
We reserve the right to remove any participant from a session if behaviour is unsafe or inappropriate. No refunds will be provided in such cases.
Privacy & Personal Information
We respect your privacy and take the protection of personal information seriously.
Any personal or medical information collected is used solely to administer our programmes, support participant safety, and communicate with parents or guardians. Information is stored securely and is not shared with third parties unless required by law or in the event of a medical emergency.
By registering, you consent to the collection and use of information in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act.
Coach Vetting
The safety of our participants is a priority.
All coaches and staff working with children are appropriately vetted and meet our standards for working with young people. This includes background checks where appropriate, clear expectations of professional conduct, and ongoing oversight to ensure a safe and supportive coaching environment.

Our coaches follow child-safe practices that promote respect, inclusion, and appropriate boundaries at all times. Any concerns regarding child safety or wellbeing are taken seriously and managed in line with our child protection procedures.

Coach Responsibilities
All coaches and staff:
Are appropriately vetted to work with children
Follow child-safe practices and professional conduct standards
Treat all children with respect and fairness
Avoid situations where they are alone with a child whenever possible
Appropriate Conduct
Physical contact is limited to what is appropriate for coaching and safety purposes only. Language and behaviour must always be age-appropriate, respectful, and supportive.
Reporting Concerns
Any concerns about a child’s safety or wellbeing will be taken seriously and addressed promptly. Where necessary, concerns will be escalated to parents, caregivers, or relevant authorities in accordance with legal requirements.
Parental Involvement
We encourage open communication with parents and caregivers and welcome any questions or concerns regarding child safety.
