Health & Safety Commitment
The safety and wellbeing of our athletes is our highest priority.
All training sessions are designed to be age-appropriate, progressive, and development-focused, with an emphasis on correct movement, injury prevention, and positive participation. We recognise that children develop at different rates, and our coaching approach reflects this.
Our programmes operate with clear health and safety procedures, including:
Structured warm-ups and cool-downs
Load management appropriate to each age group
Supervised drills with safe spacing and progression
Immediate response protocols for minor injuries or incidents
Each session has access to a fully stocked first aid kit, and coaches are trained to respond calmly and appropriately should any issue arise. We maintain clear communication with parents and caregivers regarding injuries, concerns, or return-to-play considerations.
Our health and safety policies are supported by oversight from a registered healthcare professional, ensuring best-practice standards for youth sport environments.
We are committed to providing a safe, supportive, and confidence-building environment where children can enjoy basketball, develop skills, and grow both on and off the court.
